SofiaUnplugged

I have decided to work collaboratively on this project with my uni friends, Sophie and Jessica, for my digital artifact this session. This will help us gain some early insight into potential career paths as we are all studying the same course and have a similar ideal career path. We’re all interested in exploring and finding new restaurants and culinary locations in Sydney. We have found a bond through our shared love of exploring new restaurants and finding hidden treasures in our neighborhood.  

We all live within a close proximity of each other so we’ve observed that several new restaurants and bars are operating beneath the radar. In order to experience, evaluate, and discuss the alternatives available, our group has decided to go throughout the Sutherland Shire and its environs—possibly even extending to Greater Sydney. We also hope to have a lively, conversational commentary and discussion at the same time. Our goal is to upload once a week, to engage and draw viewers, content will be posted on YouTube in the form of a longer vlog-style video. To keep our project relevant to people with busy lives, highlights will then be cut into a brief clip and shared on TikTok.  

I can relate to our initiative as it combines my love of adventure, supporting small businesses, and having light chit chat. It enables me to address relevant subjects with a larger audience while pursuing and sharing my passion for trying out new restaurants.
